Anorak Light
Anorak Light (AL) are: Nom (guitarist) and Jo (lead vocals). They have been a collective since the summer of 2003.
They are no ordinary female duo the raw energy of these girls live can rarely be captured on disc. Their melodic harmonies and intricate guitar rhythms span simple genres of harmonic pop to a more delicate jazz feel with splashings of funk, folk and rock just to keep the listener guessing
Since their debut in 2003 the girls have further progressed from the early rocked filled funk of ‘Overtime’ to their more melodic overtones of ‘Monster’ the girls continue to strive ahead writing more explosively at every endeavour.
In addition to the duo, AL are developing a quartet with double bass and percussion/drums. This ensemble takes the girls into a other dimension duo, trio and quartet versatility of dynamic range that one could only dream of!
