Jo Horsley
At the age of 10 Jo decided to defy her fatherís wish for her to become a country and western singer and started on the long road to train as a classical performer.
However, she continued strumming her old guitar, writing songs and listening to the likes of Joni Mitchell, before she achieved her dream of joining the Guildhall School of Music. Yet as soon as she arrived things went very, very wrong as she realised that her heart lay in writing. So she took the plunge, left Guildhall, wandered around the world for some time before landing in Leeds where she began a three year degree in Sound Technology.
It was here that she found her calling - recording, writing and singing to her heartís content. After graduating with flying colours Jo moved down to London where she still lives, playing gigs, writing and ironically getting back in touch with her country roots.
