LYNETTE FRANCES
Lynette began her music career as a drummer at the age of 12. From this early age she was already playing in bands to adult audiences around the country. From the age of 14 the bass guitar was her next instrument (obviously a natural progression from drumming) and then
Guitar shortly afterwards.
I have been writing & performing songs since the age of 14, I didnt come from a musical family at all, I grew up the youngest of four in a typical East London household and losing myself in the music helped to keep a very insecure child/teenagers feet firmly on the ground while her head was always in the clouds (and of course
not much has changed) :-).
I have over the years played/performed my own original material as a solo artist and in a few bands and in the Early 90s sang and co wrote 2 songs on a dance record with Doc Bozaic. I currently earn a living as a full time professional covers artist but songwriting/performing is and will always be my life.
Please listen & enjoy my music, I like to think I got my head out of my arse a long time ago, although as any songwriter will tell you my music is very personal and my songwriting stems from the experiences of myself and of the closest people around me but I hope there will something that you as an audience can relate too. If you like what you hear let me know... xx
