Mika Sellens

London-based singer-songwriter, Mika Sellens, has been singing and
writing songs since the tender age of 10. At 13 she picked up guitar
from her blues-guitar-playing father, and hasn't looked back since.
After fronting indie bands at 17, she made her solo acoustic debut at
the original Kashmir Klub in 1999 to much acclaim.

More recently Mika has worked with Pepe Deluxe, co-writing and recording the song 'Lying
Peacefully', to be heard on their album Beatitude (Catskills 2003) and
also as a single (Catskills 2004). Mika is currently working on
recording her debut solo album after a successful year of gigs around
London.

Also trained as a composer, Mika studied at Goldsmiths College, and has
worked sucessfully writing for contemporary dance and theatre as a
sound artist and electroacoustic composer.
