Ruth Theodore
"A singer/songwriter like no other. With words as dangerous as her guitar playing, Ruth Theodore reminds us why songwriting is important in the first place. Refreshingly original and relentlessly imaginative"- River Rat Records
In a predominantly conservative leafy Southampton suburb there is a long long road, and down that long, long road there is a small, small house, and in that small, small house there in a raggle, taggle room, and in that raggle, taggle room there is a wobbly ladder, and up the wobbly ladder there is a dark, dark attic and in that dark, dark attic...
...Ruth Theodore lives.
But when you turn on the light you see walls covered with poetry, lyrics, and colour. Guitars, violins, and bits of drums fill the room, for this is where, with an 8 track machine and
a 1 track mind Ruth makes her recordings.
Ruth's Debut album 'Worm food' "13 tracks of beautifully twisted, political and personal mayhem."
Will be released on 05/11/07.
